Our City Successfully Hosted the 11th “Maker China” Jiangxi Province Ganzhou Division SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

2026-07-17

To further enhance the innovation capabilities and professional standards of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and guide them toward becoming specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative, on July 1, the “Ganzhou Bank Cup” 11th “Maker China” Jiangxi Province Ganzhou Regional SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition—co-organized by the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Municipal Finance Bureau, the Municipal Office for Non-Public Enterprises, and the Municipal SME Development Promotion Center, and co-sponsored by Ganzhou Bank—was successfully held at the Ganzhou Bank Financial Tower, with 28 high-quality projects competing on the same stage. Pan Yongqiang, First-Level Researcher of the SME Division at the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Ling Yi, Deputy Director of the Provincial SME Development Promotion Center; Xie Yuanzhi, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; and Zeng Qiao, Head of the Municipal SME Development Promotion Center and Second-Level Researcher, attended the event to observe the competition and present awards. Leaders in charge and relevant officials from the industry and information technology departments of various counties (cities, districts) were also present to observe the event.

With the theme “Maker China: Igniting Innovation in Qiancheng,” this competition aims to unleash innovative potential, pool entrepreneurial resources, and foster an atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship. It seeks to achieve the goals of “stimulating innovation through competition” and “facilitating supply-demand matching through competition,” thereby supporting the high-quality development of the city’s industrial economy. The 28 projects participating in this competition were selected from a large pool of applicants as high-quality entries. They focus on the key industrial chains outlined in our city’s “7510” Action Plan and span numerous fields, including non-ferrous metals and new materials, new energy, smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and electronic information. The competition invited five authoritative experts from fields such as innovation and entrepreneurship education, industrial research, business management, and investment incubation to form a judging panel and conduct fair and impartial project evaluations.

At the competition venue, participating teams comprehensively showcased the innovation, commercial value, and team capabilities of their projects. After a day of intense competition, Ganzhou Litan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. won first prize in this competition; Leitz Intelligent Equipment (Ganzhou) Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Kaiyuan Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. won second prize; and Dengfeng Technology (Jiangxi) Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Tongyi Polymer Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and Ganzhou Zhongneng Industrial Co., Ltd. won third prize. The winning projects will be selected and recommended to participate in the semifinals of the 11th “Maker China” Jiangxi Province SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

During the competition, to address the pain points faced by science and technology innovation enterprises—such as light asset structures, limited financing channels, and significant pressure regarding R&D investment—Ganzhou Bank was invited to host a special session promoting technology-focused financial products. The bank introduced several customized financial products, including the “Compliance Loan,” “Science and Technology Innovation Loan,” “Intellectual Property Pledge Loan,” and the “Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New” (Zhuanzhengtixin) Special Credit Facility.
